#TeachingInColor is a professional learning network of educators dedicated to building community, supporting educators, and
advocating for policy changes in the best interest of educators and the students they serve.
The #TeachinginColor Community
The #TeachinginColor Community is a network of North Carolina educators of color building a supportive community, sharing resources,
and making schools more equitable. We ended the year with a community of 341 educators, increasing by 122! These educators
span across 42 North Carolina counties, as well as 12 other states, and 2 other countries (Germany and Pakistan).
#TeachingInColor is mostly represented in
Mecklenburg County (63 members), Guilford County
(39 members), and Wake County (35 members)
